Mr. Chaubey has been an IFS batch(1977) and retired as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests(PCCF), Rajasthan State. He has completed Forestry Planning and Management from Oxford University and proudly owns the merit of efficiently executing prestigious projects like JICA funded Rajasthan Forestry & Bio-diversity Project Phase-I/II, Luni Watershed Development Project, Preparation of Management Plans for Tripura Forest Development Corporation(TFDPCL), Study of Imported Timber in Special Imported Timber Conversion Zone, Gujarat,  Perspective Plan and Micro plans of Imamganj and Banka Forest Range, Development of Water Catchment through Greening of Rajasthan Phase-II/III, etc. He has operated as the Head of the Indian delegations to different sessions of International Tropical Timber Council (ITTO) and has chaired funding of forestry projects by ITTO. Currently, he has been empanelled as RIDF Consultant with NABARD and heads the Natural Resources Division at Everain.
