Project Summary: 

The biodiversity assessment of  the area was conducted in order to generate baseline information, to understand the ecological status of existing flora, faunal, aquatic species and evaluate the probable impacts on biodiversity environment in and around project area construction operation of Tiuni-Plasu HEP  72MW . 

Description of services within the assignment :-

• Preparation of comprehensive checklist of flora, fauna, avi-fauna & butterflies in the study area using suitable sampling techniques and as the guidelines of MOEF&CC
• estimation of ecological diversity, frequency, abundance, density and IVI of different vegetation component
• Identification and listing of rare Endangered species- RET
• Evaluation impacts on flora, fauna and aquatic resources that may caused by the project
• Recommend mitigating measures to minimum impacts on biodiversity and ecosystem.
