Health, Safety & Environment Audit of Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL)

Project Overview

The project aims to prepare a Health, Safety and Environment Audit report for TITAN, SAM and GA Annexe Projects of DIAL, as per ISO 45001. This process includes audit of Safety & Health process, Risk assessment management, Risk control and minimization, Damage control and Loss minimization, Measuring & monitoring, Continual improvement, Safety culture and awareness and Occupational Health & Hygiene.

Strategic Focus

  • Comprehensive assessment of process and documentation, identification of applicable regulatory frameworks, statutory requirements, and client-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines.
  • Identification of key stakeholders, including relevant personnel and departments involved in HSE activities.
  • Conduct an on-site inspection to assess working conditions, equipment safety, and environmental practices.
  • Record observations, gather evidence (including photos), and assess compliance with laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, or relevant local standards).
  • Examine current HSE policies, procedures, and records (such as safety protocols, risk assessments, incident reports).
  • Validate the presence and renewal status of statutory licenses, permits, and certifications.
  • Analyze findings from site evaluations, interviews, and documentation reviews to identify non-compliance areas or process gaps.
  • Classify and prioritize gaps based on their impact on health, safety, and environmental risks.
  • Propose corrective actions or improvements tailored to address each identified gap.
  • Ensure that the recommendations align with both regulatory requirements and best practices in HSE management.
  • Interview relevant authorities, department heads, and employees actively involved in HSE processes to gather insights and to cross-check policy implementation and identify practical challenges faced on-site.
  • Consolidate all audit findings, observations, and identified gaps into a detailed report.
  • Include photographic evidence, interview notes, and a summary of compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Clearly outline practical recommendations and corrective actions for the client.
